Regina DuPont - Manassas Ballet Theatre

Regina DuPont

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ms. DuPont began her training at the Anneliese von Oettengin School of Ballet in Cheviot, Ohio under the direction of Cornelia Berns and Laura Hughes. She attended summer intensive programs on scholarship at Cincinnati Ballet and moved on to attend the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music preparatory department and then College as a Ballet Performance Major in 2011. While at UC-CCM she performed leading roles in Don Quixote, George Balanchine’s Serenade, and in Twyla Tharp’s The Story Teller. She was also chosen to perform in a original choreographic work by Michael Bearden at the Beijing International Dance Festival in Beijing, China. After  graduation, Regina was a Company member with Charlottesville Ballet for four seasons performing many principal and soloist roles. She pursued a lifelong dream to learn ballroom dance and competed in the Virginia State Ballroom Dancesport Championships in the summer of 2019 and won 1st place in both bronze, smooth and rhythm styles. This is Regina’s first season with MBT
