Nutcracker to be performed at the Hylton Performing Arts Center

Wednesday, 12/16 @ 7:30 pm, Thursday, 12/17 @ 7:30 pm, Friday, 12/18 @ 7:30 pm, Saturday, 12/19 @ 3:00 pm & 7:30 pm, Sunday, 12/20, @ 3:00 & 7:30 pm, Monday 12/21 @ 3:00 pm, Tuesday, 12/22 @ 3:00 pm, Wednesday, 12/23 @ 3:00 pm

Auditions held at: Manassas Ballet Theatre

5:00 PM Advanced & High Intermediate Female Dancers (age 13+; with 3+ years en pointe)
Ballet IV & Up

5:30 PM Intermediate & Low Intermediate Female Dancers (age 9 +)
(pointe dancers will audition en pointe)
Pre-Ballet IV- Ballet III

6:00 PM Character Dancers (for Mother Gigogne dance)
(Boys & girls age 10+; will audition in character shoes)
Character I & II

6:15 PM Advanced Beginner & Beginner Dancers (Age 5+) Pre-Dance – Pre-Ballet III

6:30 PM Boy Dancers (all ages) All Levels

Cast list: will be emailed by Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Please be prepared to register for summer classes and rehearsals immediately.

Fall rehearsals will begin the week of October 19.

The Fall Rehearsal Schedule will be emailed and posted on our website by September 4.

• Audition registration forms are available on our website www.manassasballet.org and also at the front desk.
• There is a $20.00 NON-REFUNDABLE audition fee.
• Dancers MUST register to participate in the audition.
• Audition registration forms and fees must be brought in or emailed to the MBT office no later than Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

PROFESSIONAL AUDITIONS FOR MBT’S COMPANY

Professional dancers who wish to audition for Manassas Ballet Theatre should contact Mark Wolfe at mark@manassasballet.org to confirm a date.

Auditions take place during Company class. Company Classes are Tuesday-Friday at 11am and Saturday at Noon. Video auditions are not accepted.

Auditioning dancers are invited to arrive early so that you have time to warm-up, our doors open at 10am.

Please bring a headshot, dance photo, resume, and $20 audition fee.

 

 

AUDITION NOTICE FOR STUDENT ROLES IN DON QUIXOTE

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7

To be performed at Hylton Performing Arts Center 10960 University Blvd, Manassas, VA 20110

On Friday, 5/16 @ 7:30 pm, Saturday, 5/17 @ 3:00 & 7:30 pm & Sunday, 5/17 @ 3:00 pm

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your audition time.

There is a $20.00 NON-REFUNDABLE audition fee. ·

Completed forms and audition fee payments are due the MBT office no later than Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

2:30 – 3:00 pm High Intermediate & Advanced Ballet Dancers (Boys & Girls age 13+ must 3+ years en pointe) (Ballet V & Up)

3:00-3:15 pm Advanced Character (Character III)

3:15-3:30 pm Intermediate Ballet Dancers (Girls age 10+) Must have 1+ year en pointe. (Ballet I-V)

3:30-3:45 pm Intermediate Character (Character II)

3:45-4:00 pm Low Intermediate Ballet Dancers (Girls age 8+) (Pre-Ballet V-VI)

4:00-4:15 pm Beginner and Advanced Beginner Ballet (Girls age 5+) (Pre-Ballet I-IV)

4:15-4:30 pm Boys – all ages (Pre-Ballet I – Ballet IV)
