Final Exams are a critical component of the professional training provided by Manassas Ballet Academy.
The exam is conducted near the end of the academic year, typically two weeks before Recital.
Our exam consists of a set class that the students are taught leading up to the Final Exam.
The student is expected to memorize the class and will perform in front of a panel of three adjudicators.
The Final Exam serves two purposes. First, it provides an assessment that is a major determinant of class level for the next year. Second, the family is given a written evaluation from each judge detailing the student’s strengths and areas for improvement.
