Ms. Moya began her dance training in Mexico City, where she earned her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) certifications and the prestigious Solo Seal Award. She moved to Chicago as a trainee for the Joffrey Ballet and continued with full scholarship to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre where she joined the Professional Company. Ms. Moya danced various roles in Giselle, Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Western Symphony, Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, Jiri Kylian Petite Mort , PBT’s collaboration with Dance Theatre of Harlem, among others. Her repertoire also includes Waltz Girl in George Balanchine’s Serenade, First Girl in Lew Christensen’s Sinfonia, as well as Raymonda, Paquita and Coppelia. She moved to Virginia to dance as a Soloist for VNB. She also became certified as a PMA Pilates and Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor and is invested in exploring healing through movement. Ms. Moya joined Manassas Ballet in February, 2021.
