Hannah Locke

Ms. Locke, from Chattanooga, TN, began her training at VanCura Ballet Conservatory under the direction of Anna and Barry VanCura, then attended high school on scholarship at University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of Ethan Stiefel. Summer programs included Ballet Tennessee, Joffrey Midwest, American Ballet Theatre, Kaatsbaan, and Boston Ballet. Ms. Locke’s professional career started with Richmond Ballet, and she later served as Principal Dancer and Ballet Administrator with Ballet Tennessee. Ms. Locke has performed a variety of principal and soloist roles with MBT including Kitri in Don Quixote, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. Ms. Locke joined MBT in 2018 and is also an instructor at Manassas Ballet Academy.
